Outdoor education programs for schools - this is what we are most passionate about and the reason we started the company. Founded and staffed by some of the most experienced local and expatriate outdoor guides in China, together we probably organized as led as many school programs as anyone in China today.

We know schools and we know that not only are the needs of each school unique but so too are the needs of each program.

Our style is not to take an enormous group of students to tour the sites of China. This market is being met. Our forte is in small to mid-sized groups of students on more experiential focused programs. This takes different forms but generally means contriving more student involvement in the trips is it through integrating map leading skills into a hike, river studies into a bike ride or facilitating dialogue and interaction with locals. This is the difference between leading tourists and reading exciting learning opportunities for students.

While our school programs, whether focused on culture, nature, service, adventure or a range, are each unique to the goals and requirements of the school, there are certain factors that exist in every school program we offer including:

• Everything, from activities to accommodation and meals, is included, organized and put on one bill to ensure quality and eliminate hassle.
• There is always a professional supervision ratio, activity specific but at a minimum of 1 to 8.
• Teachers from the school are always included free at a ratio of 1 to 8.
• All staff are trained and/or certified in first aid ranging from a basic guide level to Wilderness First Responders from Wilderness Medical Associates Canada.
• All guide teams have a well-stocked first aid kit and emergency plan.
• Meals and accommodations are always of the highest quality.
• There are always activity contingency plans/activities in the event of foul weather.
• All technical activities are led by staff with a deep knowledge and professionalism in their activities. This includes water sports staff with swimming/water rescue experience and rock climbing guides with comprehensive instructional and rescue training/certification.
• All activities are operated with internationally certified (and professional monitored/replaced) equipment be it load bearing vertical equipment, lifejackets or bicycle helmets.
• All our guides are at least bilingual with experience and training in communicating with international youth when using a local expert who may not have quality English Skills they can also offer translation.
• 2% of revenue or 10% of profits, whichever is greater, always goes to local charitable projects.
• Our purchasing power derived from our extensive local network and brokering on behalf of tour companies, mean the highest value is assured.
