Field Studies

Here at Terratribes, we have a passion for adventurous education. We believe that the world is the best classroom, and the opportunities to discover nature and culture in China are limitless. We also have a firm belief in the self-knowledge that students gain through experiencing the challenge and excitement of outdoor sports.

Terratribes constantly seeks out opportunities to integrate school learning outcomes and curricula with our trips. We are more than happy to work with teachers and administrators to include learning opportunites for particular subjects. Examples include:

• Environmental studies
• Agriculture
• History
• Art

Field studies trips involve close collaboration between teachers and Terratribes staff, in order to maximize the opportunities for students to learn through experience. Teachers have the opportunity to make rural China their classroom, by giving students real life experiences that make their education come alive.
