Yangshuo is 50% a tourist town and  50% a farming town.  You will spend most of your time in the tourist areas.  The tourist area is mostly off limit to cars, it is full of restaurants and bars, and makes for a nice change after working in the rural countryside most of the days.

Job description:

Terratribes Expeditions Trip Leader
Trip Leaders are experienced guides who have demonstrated competence in the management of a trip. This may begin with small groups and progress to larger ones. Our leaders come from a range of different backgrounds but all have experience managing youth and adult  adventure programs and are comfortable being placed in a position of responsibility.

Terratribes Guide
Guides assist in operating trips as well as performing day-to-day tasks in order to create a stress-free and fun environment. They are responsible to the Trip Leader and have a desire to learn and improve their skill sets. While most guides start out in an assistant position, their responsibilities are increased throughout the season as they become fully involved in the design, planning and preparation stages of a program.
